Anyone intending to visit Longham Lakes from Friday 11th October access to the lakes will be severely restricted. This is due to essential maintenance work on the lakeside banks and will result in the temporary closure of the paths around the lakes. The work is due to last 2 weeks, but it may be shorter if works progresses well. So tomorrow may be your last chance to visit.
If anyone still wants to see the American Black Tern, tomorrow might be the last opportunity (assuming it is still there).
