Join us for a walk into the Winspit valley and along to St Aldhelm’s Head this Sunday 17th April.
We will search for spring migrants, who knows we may bump into a Hoopoe! More realistically we should encounter Wheatear, Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat & Willow Warbler amongst other things and perhaps Redsart and Ring Ouzel. Scarce local breeders such as Corn Bunting and Yellowhammer should be seen too.
Meet in the car park in Worth Matravers at 09:30 (SY 974776 – charges apply) and we expect to be out for most of the day.
It's a Category C walk with some steep hills / stiles.
